SECTION 1 – WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?
When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

SECTION 2 – CONSENT
How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

How do I withdraw my consent?

SECTION 4 – WORDPRESS AND WOOCOMMERCE
Our store is hosted on WordPress. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through WordPress’s data storage, databases and the WooCommerce application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

Payment:
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Squarespace stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers. For more insight, you may also want to read WordPress and WooCommerces’s Terms of Service or Privacy Statements.

SECTION 5 – THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us. However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions. For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers. In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located a different jurisdiction than either you or us. Privacy Policy – Flint Rehab Software

The protection of our customers’ privacy is of utmost importance to the employees and management of the Flint Rehab family.  Continuously improving our products and advancing the science of movement recovery are also important goals for the Flint Rehab family. Please take a moment to read the following important message about the privacy of your information and how Flint uses any collected data.

Information We Collect

During the use of our software, Flint Rehab may collect anonymous data describing your use of our products, for both product improvement and research purposes. This data will be in the form of software error reports and/or usage logs. Software error reports contain information about the type of error and the computer on which the error occurred.  Usage logs contain dated records of specific activities performed with our software, such as the number of repetitions of a particular exercise, or the amount of time spent using the software. Note, the error logs and usage logs are NOT linked to your name, location, or any address, id number, or other personal identifier. They are completely anonymous.

How We Use That Information

We primarily use the information we collect to improve the products and services supplied to you by Flint Rehab. For example, to give you customer support or to allow you to track your usage patterns over time. We also use the anonymous usage logs to research the process of motor recovery to improve the products and services we offer. Our goal is to use the logs to learn how best to help other people recover after neurologic injuries and other conditions.

Outside Access of Collected Data

Occasionally, Flint Rehab may share your anonymous usage data with approved researchers at Universities or other institutions interested in answering scientific questions about the processes of movement recovery. The usage logs are always kept anonymous to protect your privacy. Only anonymous data will be shared, and only for research purposes.  Researchers may present summaries of this anonymous data in academic publications and presentations.

We will not sell, trade or share your data with any third-party where they will market directly to you.

Your Rights to Control Your Personal Data

For our products and services that allow you to track your data over time (e.g. MiGo and Cycli), you can email [email protected] at any time to request all data be deleted. Note, requests may take up to 30 days to process. For our products and services that collect anonymous data only, you may elect not to share this data with Flint Rehab. If you do not wish to share this data, please email us at [email protected] after purchasing your product to discuss options. Please note that electing not to share this anonymous data may limit our ability to provide customer support and other services to you.
